  Director, Marketing & National Accounts  
     
  Salary Range  
  $90,000 - $120,000 annual base salary, 10 - 15% bonus, car allowance, benefits  
     
  Duties and Responsibilities  
 
  • Marketing
  • Manage and coordinate all market planning and product management activities.
  • Develop and implement the company’s marketing plan including the development and implementation of effective sales promotions targeted towards sales personnel and customers.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts between Canada and U.S. Marketing Directors.
  • Develop/direct the promotion, advertising, and merchandising efforts for Canada.
  • Analyze competitive data and apply understanding of competitive positioning, pricing, products, systems and programs.
  • Develop competitive pricing objectives and contract strategy to meet sales and profitability goals.
  • Manage all activites related to obtaining appropriate provincial funding approvals.
  • Interface with sales, operations, and customer service to provide business direction and support.
  • Supervise, develop, evaluate and counsel staff.
  • Ensure Marketing's budget/administrative targets are met.
  • Manage communications to TBM’s and to customers.
  • Manage the coordination of trade shows and events.
  • Manage the development of appropriate sales support materials.
  • Develop monthly sales forecasting.
  • National Accounts
  • Develop and maintain national accounts by:
  • designing and implementing national account sales strategies
  • strengthing key customer relationships
  • presenting new concepts and products
  • ensuring adequate support to increase sales, profits and market share
  • Manage contract agreements including negotiating agreements and compliance monitoring.
  • Communicate contract/product opportunities to the sales force.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
 
     
  Candidate Requirements  
 
  • Bachelors Degree (advanced degree preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with participative management style.
  • Demonstrated independent and results-oriented management abilities and creative skills.
  • Ability to motivate/train others to act professionally in a high stress, fast paced team environment.
  • Previous medical device experience is a plus.
  • 5 to 10 years of marketing/product management experience.
  • Strong career orientation and self-motivation.
  • Strategic and tactical planning experience required.
