  Duties and Responsibilities  
 
  • This leadership role will be responsible for developing, executing and challenging all aspects of shop floor and supervisory training. The incumbent will work with the department managers to ensure training is conducted on a timely manner and training plans for each position are comprehensive and compliant with corporate training standards.
  • In addition, the role will act as liaison between the sites and corporate to ensure there is consistency between sites and other divisions.
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Conducts regular diagnosis on workplace performance gaps, using appropriate data collection processes, at individual, team and organizational levels.
  • Develops training strategy plan encompassing different levels of training based on significance of change in procedures. This will require working closely with the technical experts on the floor.
  • Develops and maintains competency test for all procedures.
  • Develops and maintains training program for protocols and other master documents.
  • Conducts training on all new and revised procedures used to instruct Operations in the production and packaging of drug products.
  • Works with department managers to review training matrix / job functions on a periodical basis.
  • Works with department managers to review training gaps for both general GMP training and department- based procedures.
  • Develops training solutions for management team to address individuals’ procedural comprehension and understanding.
  • Utilises the most appropriate method of training (i.e. on-the-job equipment training vs classroom vs documentation training) and recommends future actions plans
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the training based on employees’ ability to perform GMP tasks without deviation
  • Foster a culture of spirit and commitment through open communication at all levels. Employ strategies that fully engage all department employees in the pursuit of Compliance and Reliability as inseparable objectives.
 
     
  Candidate Requirements  
 
  • University degree, preferably in Education, Science, or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years experience in a training role, responsible for developing and delivering training in a diverse environment.
  • Minimum 5 years experience within Operations management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Adult training experience preferred.
