Duties
and Responsibilities |
|
| |
- Interface with Project Teams to develop the overall C&Q Phase Project Plan & Schedule which includes commissioning, installation & operational qualification for all major capital projects, and performance qualification of non-product dependant systems.
- Establish and manage a C&Q Delivery Team to:
- Participate in developing and implementing commissioning plans for facility systems, process systems and equipment; participate in identifying critical parameters/instrumentation, and critical function of the facility system and process/equipment; Develop test functions to challenge the facility and process systems operating capabilities; Review and assess impact of changes to the qualification status of process system/equipment and facility systems, using appropriate change control procedures.
- Coordinate construction walk-throughs, and develop and maintain deficiency list (punch list and exceptions list).
- Develop and implement qualification activities (IO, OQ, non product dependant PQ) as required by the Validation Master Plan.
- Audit project documentation for turnover to the customer to ensure compliance.
- Ensure project safety.
- Implement all required training.
- Establish and maintain an Engineering Turn-over Documentation Library.
- Prepare all start-up documentation for turnover to Production and Facility Maintenance, and other customer groups.

Candidate
Requirements |
|
| |
- Degree in Applied Science in Engineering.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer in Ontario .
- Five to ten years of engineering experience.
- Expertise in commissioning and qualification of pharmaceutical facilities and aseptic processes is an asset. Knowledge of regulatory requirements (i.e. GMP)
- Demonstrated experience in co-ordinating project activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member, and in a fast paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- High level of familiarity with Excel, Word, Access, and Microsoft Project, required.
- Proven organizational, time management, and project management and customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
